So to get started you might like to consider Towards Learning: An Overview of Senior Cycle Education. This overview looks at senior cycle as it is at the moment and points us towards where we might see it going in the future. It also gives some background to the values, vision and principles that have shaped the development and revision of syllabuses that you will see over the coming months.

We now have two sample short courses available for you to read through and let us know what you think of the idea of short courses and to comment on the first two sample courses in Enterprise and Psychology.

We have recently completed the consultation on Politics and Society which will be a new subject at senior cycle. A report on the consultation will be available here shortly. However, the syllabus is still available for you to browse through as an example of how new syllabuses will look.
